2. What this policy covers

This policy explains what happens to personal data when you visit this website, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Romanian data protection law.

It does not cover data we process on behalf of clients during a project. That processing is governed by the contract and data processing agreement we sign with the client concerned, under which the client is normally the controller and Clevent acts as processor.

3. What we collect

3.1 Nothing you have to type

This website has no contact form, no sign-up, no login and no comment function. We do not ask you for any personal data in order to browse it, and there is nowhere on the site to submit any.

3.2 If you choose to contact us

If you email or telephone us using the details above, we receive whatever you choose to send us — typically your name, your email address or telephone number, and the content of your message. We use it only to respond to you and to manage the resulting business relationship.

3.3 Server logs

Like virtually all websites, the server that delivers this site records technical information about each request, which may include your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system version. These logs exist so that the site can be operated securely and faults can be diagnosed. We do not use them to build profiles of visitors, and we do not attempt to identify individuals from them.

3.4 Cookies

This site sets one cookie, and it is a functional one. We use no analytics cookies, no advertising or tracking cookies, and no third-party marketing pixels. The site does not use browser local storage or session storage.

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. If you block this one, the cookie notice will reappear on each visit, but the site will otherwise work normally.

3.5 No third-party requests

Everything this website needs — stylesheets, scripts, images and typefaces — is served from our own domain. Your browser contacts no third-party server while loading this site, so no third party receives your IP address or learns anything about your visit from it. Our typefaces in particular are self-hosted rather than fetched from an external font service.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. Personal data arising from this website may be handled by:

  • our hosting provider, which operates the servers on which this site runs and generates the logs described above;
  • our email provider, where correspondence you send us is stored;
  • professional advisers or authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information.

6. Transfers outside the EEA

Browsing this website does not itself transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area, because the site contacts no third-party servers. Where a provider we use — such as our hosting or email provider — processes personal data outside the EEA, we rely on an adequacy decision or on Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long we keep it

  • The cookie notice cookie: 24 hours, then your browser discards it.
  • Server logs: only as long as needed to operate and secure the site and to investigate faults or abuse, after which they are deleted or overwritten by our hosting provider.
  • Correspondence: for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and to keep a record of our business dealings, and thereafter for any period required by accounting, tax or limitation rules.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy of it (access);
  • have inaccurate data corrected (rectification);
  • have data deleted (erasure), where the conditions for that right apply;
  • ask us to restrict processing;
  • receive data you provided in a portable form;
  • object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests;
  • withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you may complain to the Romanian supervisory authority, the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), B-dul G-ral. 9. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the limited personal data this website involves, including transport encryption for the site itself and access controls on the systems where correspondence is stored. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send us confidential information by unencrypted email.

10. Children

This website is aimed at businesses and professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data relating to children.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change how this website handles personal data, we will update this page and revise the date shown at the top. Please check back if you want to know our current practice.
